2010 ford transit connect specs

The Ford Mondeo is not only a sleek and powerful car, but it’s also an intelligent one. Filled with dozens of standard and optional gadgets, the Ford Mondeo recaptures the fun and ease of driving.

For a great experience behind the wheel, the Mondeo has independent front suspension and independent rear multi-link suspension. The adaptive cruise control can cleverly sense the distance between you and the car in front. If the traffic flow slows down, the Ford Mondeo will know and automatically modify your speed, keeping you at a safe distance and reducing the change of collision. It will then speed up again when traffic returns to a faster flow. Included with the ACC option is also the handy Hill Start Assist feature, which prevents you rolling backwards when making a hill start.

No matter which of the seven Ford Mondeo models you choose, each comes with a Human Machine Interface system. This digital display allows you to control things like the radio, CD player, some of the vehicle settings and the trip computer. (Controls for this are handily located on the steering wheel.) Some models are also available with the Enhanced version or Ford Converse cluster display, which allows you to control things such as your Bluetooth phone. You can also include an AUX jack, which allows you to plug in your MP3 player, or connect it via USB and see the tracks appear on the digital display.

As standard, there is a clever headlight courtesy delay. This means the headlights stay lit for a while after turning off the Mondeo’s engine. This light illuminates your path to the door, which is especially useful in dimly lit areas.

Another great feature is Park Assist, which does exactly what its name suggests. With optional front and rear parking sensors, the Ford Mondeo will help you fit into even the tightest of spaces, warning you if you’re getting too close to an object.

You can remotely lock and unlock your car using the fob key, as well as open and close the windows with it. And with the FordPower start button, there’s no need to even take the key out of your pocket. Clever sensors mean that you car recognises the presence of the key, and the engine will then turn on at the touch of a button.

With seven available models, and a number of other clever and useful features, you can really customise the Ford Mondeo to your own specification.
