2009/2010 Mercury Milan or 2009 Volkswagen TDI jetta?
Which car would you decide to get? I might get one of these and I can’t make up my mind.. on one hand the jetta diesel would get far better mileage, but I think the mercury would be a more comfortable ride as I have a 40 minute commute to work. They both seem like pretty good cars…
TDI all the way. Both will be comfortable, Volkswagen – Germany – Autobahn. The TDI will be more reliable and a hell a lot more economical due to its excellent mileage and especially now that diesel is cheaper than gasoline. Also the resale value of the TDI will always be better than the Milan. The only area the Milan is a little better in front crash test rating, five stars vs. four stars for the Jetta. From the side both get five stars. But, as a added safety feature I believe the Jetta has Electronic Stability Control (ESC) whereas the Milan does not.
